CopticWiki, founded in September 2009, is the free online Coptic encyclopedia that anyone can edit.

CopticWiki was originally a project started by a servant of St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church of Washington D.C. in 2005. The project was then taken up by the UKmidCopts Dev Team (Coptic Orthodox Diocese of the Midlands & Affiliated Areas U.K.) in September 2009. Following this, the domains www.copticwiki.org and www.copticwiki.com were purchased by the CopticData project. Thereafter, in Febraury 2010 CopticWiki became a joint effort between the three parties respectively and is in ongoing development.
