Bishop Missael
Bishop Missael is a diocesan bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria consecrated by Pope Shenouda III on 26 May 1991 to oversee the Diocese of the Midlands & Affiliated Areas U.K. (formerly the Diocese of Birmingham). In this capacity, he is a member of The Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church.
His Grace Bishop Missael was originally a general bishop in the U.K. who established St. Mary & St. Antony's Coptic Church in 1985. He later established the St. Mary & St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Centre in Birmingham in 1989.
His Grace was then enthroned as the first Bishop of Diocese of the Midlands & Affiliated Areas U.K. and was the first Coptic Orthodox Bishop in the United Kingdom.
His Grace Bishop Missael is now based at the Coptic Orthodox Centre in Birmingham and oversees the Diocese which has around 10 churches and communities in these areas:

- Northamptonshire
- North Wales
- Oxfordshire
- Worcestershire

- Staffordshire
